I brought a zxr 400 in the week and once i got it home knowing it had problems noticed oil leaking down the head and i had a hunch the rocker cover seal had gone so i began stripping the bike down to get to the rocker cover and re-do the seal just i cant understand why there is alot like alot of oil on top of the rocker cover and down around the top of the spark plugs where could all of this oil come from help please somone

There are seals for the tubes that run down to the plugs, as they can be removed. Chances are its those. There are drain holes that allow water n oil through, n it usually ends up all over the front of the motor.

No problem, change the seals, clean up the motor and that should sort it. If it leaks any more, then youll see on the clean motor.
