Help Bike not working :(
The problem is that when the bike (zxr 400 h1 1989) gets warm after a few miles of use it is prone to cutting out when stopped at a set of traffic lights, this itself isn't much of a problem however once it has cut out it will not start again for 15-20 minutes when it has cooled down a bit, there is also a strange dead spot with the revs and they do take a while to drop. the bike does have a restrictor kit which has been considered as a possible culprit, anyone any other ideas?

restrictor kits are prone to causing air leaks so check around the inlet rubbers for air leaks.if not could it just need the idle turning up slighlty?
revs hanging usually is air leaks, its were the restrictors bolt down onto the head they need some sealant around them and also check the inlet rubbers that the carbs are held on by as they 'split' with age.
