can anyone help me with my zxr400 as it wont start after replacing complete engine ? :smt013

The list of things that could be wrong is as long as I'm tall

We'd need a lot more information than that

ok sorry to mention ,when i turn the key all i get isa clikking sound, and no spark, could it be the alarm thats stopping the bike from starting or what else ?

I'm surprise that turning the key produces a clicking sound..................seems very strange

Again no spark could be any one of a dozen different things

And yes your problems could be related to the alarm

Again we need more information...................

As a starting point and this is basic stuff

Is the battery charged and in good nick

Is there fuel in it ?

Are ALL electrical connection correct and persent...............think carefully about this one

Are there pistons in the new engine ?

Does the ignition rotor match with the ignition box ?

What was wrong with the old engine
What state is the new engine in

There you go should keep you busy for a couple of hours
