Hi guys i have a problem with my standard uk spec zxr400, it tends to be flat and no at low revs when pulling away but when it hits 4000rpm it picks up and goes. The best way I could describe it is like a 2 stroke power band nothing then it goes, I have replaced all the plugs and cleaned the air filter. Plug leads look ok. Any ideas

Sounds like u have a zxr400 to me. Perfectly normal, if u search round there have been similar references to this chracteristic.
