Hi my zxr400 l9 wont respond to electric start once left for a while but the lights and all is ok so i dont think its the battery.
it starts fine once bumped and if i turn it off after a few seconds the electric sstart fires up fine.
any ideas?

BAttery might have the Volts to light up but sounds like it doesn't have the Amps to crank the starter.
How old is battery ? How much has it been neglected? How long has the bike sat with out use and battery still connected ?
