Slow to rev passed 10k...

Post by stevezx7r »

The bike has been running pretty decent 'till today when I noticed it felt a little slow to rev passed 10k rpm. It gets to 10k, slows, then picks up again. It almost feels as though I'v slipped the clutch but the revs are constant.

I was in the middle of prepping the bike for a track day so I went out minus head light - could the change in aerodynamics have affected the amount of air being thrown into the air box at high revs? Seems a bit unlikely?

Any thoughts?

Cheers.

When last done?

More info more likely to pinpoint cause

Either that it's fecked now and you want to sell it to me for 250GBP to get rid of the nightmare.

L model engine was rebuilt not long ago, changed the oil the other day and I've adjusted the clutch. Things seem better but still not managed a track day on it so not 100% sure yet.
