not running right

hi guy my zxr400 h1 model seems to be having problems when i start it it will rev up and get half warm then cut out i have noticed that the coolant in the expansion bottle was bubbling or boiling then it started blowing out steam from the expansion bottle is this due to the head gasket? plus it doesnt even go up to full temp many thanks bobby

i'd be inclined to check your coolant colour!
