Hello there, Im new to the forum so I hope im in the right area -

My problem is that my zxr400 will start thumping when i pull away and as i get quicker the thumping will get quicker. I know it sounds stupid but its becoming a real pain in the ass as i can continually hear it. I resorted to asking the people who know the most out of the bikes!

Any information that can help solve this - please ask!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Sounds like it could either be a tight spot in the chain, or a wheel bearing might have gone.

Get the bike on a stand and see if you can hear it when you turn the wheel.
