Hi all been a while since ive had problems with my zxr until now.

Then other week i was going to collect a takeaway and the bike ran perfect i stopped and went into takeaway. When i came back out and started the bike it sounded loud and rough like it was running on 3 pots i tried to ride home and it was back firing and no power etc.

I have checked spark and all 4 spark plugs are sparking.
Then just in case bought new ngk plugs x4 as old were black.
New ht leads
Checked every wire and changed coil terminal clips off the wires to shiny new ones.
Checked every wire i can all seems ok(what other wires should i be specific about checking)
Checked fuel pump and it pulls fuel.

i am currently waiting on new fuel filter and i am going to last resort attempt not to mess up my carbs and strip them if this fails what else can it be as now the bike will not start unless i pour fuel down the carbs directly and then runs rough and stalls if given any throttle or after a few seconds even without throttle ?

Is the airbox breather pipe clear?

Mine would run shitty when it wasnt drained.

Airbox is off and still wont run had it going just then with half throttle and fuel in carbs to get going revs were below 2k and if anymore revs were given it would bork out

thanks though anymore ideas im suspecting earth of some sorts just feels electrical for some reason with this bad winter and riding in salted roads..
