Hi i have a 1993 zxr400 with standard airfilter new cr9ek plugs dyna coils micron downpipes and pipeworx silencer. Since ive bought my bike its only starts when it wants to seems to lose its spark. Since owning the bike its had a new battery, new plugs, and fresh fuel. it did have a spyball alarm and imobiliser on there which i removed. While doing so i noticed the wiring was in a bad state so ive just recently bought an unmolestered loom and fitted it. And yes i still have the same problem ive given my cdi unit to an auto electician i know and that seems to be ok where can i go from here any info would be great.

Check the whole ignition system wiring, could possibly be your pick up coil, there's a resistance test in the manual
