from your videos you have an L model, coil packs are 1+4 and 2+3 (same as the H model too) and should have 1x black, 2x red and 1x green wires going to them from the electrical loom.

Funny thing, banner101, youre right, the setup is 1-4 and 2-3, but my bike was setup 1-2 and 3-4.

I changed it to 1-4 and 2-3 and heres what happened! Please help me!!

flames out the inlets is usually tight valve clearances, or a badly worn cam chain.

what i think you need to do is start working out what it cant be.

also, your coil packs are definitely 1+4 and 2+3, pistons 1 and 4 move up and down together and as the bike uses a wasted spark it fires both 1 and 4 spark plugs at the same time, this ensures that when both pistons get to TDC they get a spark, one will be on compression, the other will have just finished its exhaust stroke, and vice versa in 360 degrees time.

by you putting the coil pack on 1+2 you will be firing cylinder 1 correctly, but you will be firing cylinder 2 at BDC...

Also, banner.

I talked to an experienced motor man today, and he told me that my issues could be a bad stator? Because two months ago i had a crash with the bike and i had to replace my generator cover.. Maybe my stator was damaged?

have you had the plugs out and cleaned then up? The backfiring could purely be fuel sitting in there and the exhaust from previous attempts at starting with the wrong coil set-up.

If you can warm the plugs a bit while your at it, that would help get it started. amazed its running reasonably well with the wrong coil set up.

a bad stator will mean that you cant charge your battery, easy to test with a multimeter once you get the bike running. shouldnt affect your ability to start the bike though, race bikes run total loss with no stator and they start up just fine.
