Hi all,
so basically my bike will crank over but not fire up....
here is what I have checked:
- Spark plugs/HT leads spark
- relay works
- fuel pump works
- carbs clean and no blockages
- fuel getting through to carbs
what I haven't checked
- compression
- battery life (picking a tricle charger up later as heard weak battery charge can make this happen)
so those two are getting worked on at the weekend, but just curious what everyone thinks....
it all happened a week ago the seals went on the needle seats so I replaced those along with some other parts while I was there bike still would fire up (this happened before I replaced the Orings, hence why I replaced them thought it was a fuelling issue) however doesn't appear to be a fuel problem and fuel appears to be doing what it should as it keep flooding my engine because the bike wont fire and my plugs end up wet and fouled.
However the battery is dead from trying to start it so we had it hooked up to a car battery still no luck would just turn over.
we tried to bump it (which worked it did fire to life) BUT it was as if I was running on one cylinder and had ZERO throttle response!!
