i just got the carbs back from my fellow redneck that i work with lol, he said they werent dirty enough to cause a problem, so now we are going with electrical

We are both aircraft jet engine mechanics, so im sure we can figure it out eventually lol. i just am a FI bike guy, not a carb.

Oh wow thats cool! Perhaps erradicate the engine altogether and strap a jet to it! :smt003

Have a look at simple stuff like the plugs and leads and go from there. Looking at the plugsand thier condition will also be an indication of how it is running.

New plugs, checked them after an hour of trying, RICH AS HELL. it could be
carbs too rich....but no changes are responding so iwe cleaned it. may work now
OR not enough spark to ignite the gas fully.

could be one of hte two

its completely OFF. its only the ITBs showing. thats how i had to get it home due to the nike dying when i oput it on from not enough air

ok update
So we tested spark on all wires, 7mm or greater per the manual
the pickup in the right side crank case cover was good we ohmed it out and stuff

but now the left bank of carbs are overloading, and pouring fuel out
any race carbs around i can get? if im gonna get new ones might as well upgrade right?

also What kind of spark plug wire from NGK should i be using, the packs all have like 3 characters on the top right for the different types

If you can get them, there is flat slide carbs but they are well rare and cost a fortune!

Theres not anything stupid like a hole in the float bowls in the carbs is there? Weird how they have just suddenly started flooding. Do they only do it when the bike is running? Wondering if your fuel pump is playing up?

Dont know what they are off the top of my head but they are in the manual which is on the main site :)

Thats a point about just 1 and 2 filling up. Has to be something with the carb if its doing that, sure your mate put em back properly and wit the floats on the right setting?
