Standard Air filter
No idea on spark plugs but ngk plug caps
Standard carbs
Standard exhaust with scorpion end can
19847miles
Carb heaters

The bike has just started playing me up. Right when she is hot i have to hold the throttle wide open and hold the starter on for about a min then she starts and run's at about 2k rpm at full throttle for about 2min's then she jumps to life and she is ok till i cut the engine and try a restart and it's the same again when she is HOT. Starts 1st time when cold

Banjo :smt035

L3
standard filter
NGK cr9ek plugs
no jetting
standard exhaust, Art race can
36,000 miles

sometimes needs to be turned over for a second or two longer but no major issue, a blip of the throttle and it soon comes alive :smt001

Cheers for that Rob. Sorry I've been away for a bit guys - I've been a very busy man....

My battery is fine. New before the start of the season. I called the John at Track Electronics and explained things to him. I thought it was maybe to do with the TPS as I've had bother with that before and have it disconnected completely at the moment. It turns out it's nothing to do with it. He said that as the motor turns a little and dies (as in you'd assume that the battery was knackered) when it's hot, but is fine when it's cold it is not an electrical problem. His diagnosis is that something in the engine is increasing friction when hot to such a level that the starter can't turn my engine, but that bump starting it can overcome the problem because it forces the engine to turn even if it's sticking a bit. My winter project is to 1st move house and get my new garage sorted out, then check my cooling pump as my bike took a knock just beside it in a small off and tore a cooling pipe. I'm wondering if the engine is maybe running hotter than normal as a result of this. If it's ok then I'm going to try new pistons and rings/ possibly a re-bore as well if the bores are in a mess.

The joys......
