Cutting out while riding

Hi people, I've been looking to buy a motorbike for a while now and came across a very nice kawasaki zxr 400. The current owner says it has a problem with cutting out as soon as it's driven for a while. How brief, I'm not sure, but she says that as soon as it gets very warm it cuts out. It starts back up without a problem as soon as it has cooled down a bit though. Any ideas on what the problem may be, if it's easily fixed or if the bike should rather be left? I'm very keen on this one, which is something I can't say about any of the others I've looked at...

could be as simple as naff coolant in the system, i'd imagine it gets hot in south africa, bike overheats plugs could be shot, fuel evaporates before it gets to be burnt?

Ive got a similar problem with my bike,
Ive had mine set up on a Rolling road to get the carbs balanced but the problem is still there but not as bad as it once was.
Dont think my bike is standard tho as the bloke who i got it from wasnt sure whats been done but the guy before him was telling him that there were 750? internals and other bits and pieces done to the engine.
Ive got a G reg H model.
Any other ideas about what could be wrong with it or is it most probably some naff coolant in the system ?

Hi guys, thanks a lot for your replies. I'm looking at the bike tomorrow, will ask the guy about the things you commented on. The more possibilities I get the more likely I am to solving the problem... Will let you know all about it soon....
