after sorting a bad earth on my starter motor the zx4 just wouldnt start, recharged battery and it eventually started.
sounded rough so took out plugs blew through and cleaned all around the ht plug area etc.., even took out my coils to make double sure all wires were in the right place.
she started great then when i went for a razz it conked out a mile away,
restarted after about a minute and conked out nearly at my house on the return????
is it the fuel filter you suppose! where can i order the proper type from as i didnt fancy one of those general ones off e bay.......
maybe redex will do it?
was all ok till i fixed the starter motor button to clutch wires! :smt013 :smt013 :smt013
backfires on full revs on the drive and puffs smoke but is that the limiter cutting in ?
any help would be appreciated lads

new filter may help. new plugs. new air filter. redex will help keep a CLEAN system clean. if carbs are snotted up then time for a dismantle job. check fuel line for kinks and any decent car spares filter will do. just make sure u get the right diameter one

dunno. ANY filter will do. better than none. if it dont fit the holder let it hang loose
