paddock stands

just a quickie, to get my front wheel out, so i can get it resprayed, have i gotta get a paddock stand that supports the headtube, or can i just get one that holds the fork legs?

One that supports the fork legs will do it, you only need the headstock stand if you're removing the forks as well...

but on the flipside, is it worth buying one that will only let you do that, or spending a little more now on a headstock stand but not being buggered when you pop a fork seal?

depends how much of your own servicing you are likely to do I suppose. I bought a headstock one at the bike show, but then I know I have got to drop the forks out fairly soon!
