Building a solid engine is not about an internet check list. It's about integrating the correct parts at the appropriate settings. Not just magnesium this & titanium that. E.g throwing in a set of lumpy cams will to fukc all if you don't has appropriate length in inlet & exhaust tracks & dialed in to suit.

I get you! I figured if I got the right stuff together and set fine tuned their clearances, settings etc on a dyno, I could find the right mix that works

Grab some books & spend some time at the track, try & get an understanding on what makes a bike work. Slot of parts are on race bikes for the advertising factor. Look close at some of the national level bikes & there are a surprising amount of standard parts on them. Try & avoid bling for the sake of it.

Bottom end is totally standard, standard pistons, liner skirts are modified, running a Bob Farnham ported head with Kent cams, programable ignition, MHP exhaust system.
