New kid on the block!

Post by Scott221 »

Alright lads!

My names Scott from Birmingham and i own an Aprilia RS50 at the moment (New shape :smt007 ). Thinking about taking my test when im 17 in March and going onto a ZXR 400.

Got a few questions though. How exactly do you restrict them, whats the performance like, what will insurance be like, finaly, what will it be like jumping from a de rezzed 50 onto a 400?

Cheers,
Scott.

personally mate the zxr400 is a quality bike to choose, but i'm biased, i went from a nsr125 to my zxr400.you will love it!!

check out this thread on restrictors http://zxrworld.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.p ... estrictors

and if you read the free4all you'll see a post on performance.

Welcome scott :smt001

125 to 400 is a bigish jump just be careful, it'll feel well peaky to start with but after a while it wont.

Restricted ZXR does about 110mph tops, but will still feel fast after your 125.

Good luck with your test :smt001

lol, you mis-understood me. Im on a 50 at the mo :smt012 and would have got a 125, but would rather get straight on to a 400. im quite a big lad, 6 ft 1 and want to join the marines so i think i could handle the weight, just the POWARH!!!!!! that might be an issue
