hi my name is kris i live on the isle of wight have moved from New Zealand 4 years ago, just got into bikes in last 2 years. just sold an NC29 cbr400rr which i built from frame and engine only. now i own a zxr400 L2 , just bought last weekend for 850 quid, i like it, picked up from kent and drove back on a clear crisp sat afternoon. let me know what you think.

good
new tyres
fresh paint job (mmmmmm on the stickers) but they are over the lacquer and easy to remove
new fork oil and seals
new/refurbished brakes all round
tax n mot till sept 10
new chain n sprockets

bad
bent brake lever
minor patch job inside the lower right belly
uuhhhh not a lot else that ive found yet.

do these bikes not have a V piece? as the lower radiator gets covered in s***

hello and welcome, no they dont have anything to cover the oil cooler or radiator so they do get covered in shite.

right been a month or so now and problems,
cam chain and tensioner went and the guy has just received my final notice pre-court.
but in the mean time ive put these on (well the brake side as its a bit trickier)
just cheap ones, that im going to link in with belly pan stickers.
made the ali bracket up for master cylinder and theres also a small face plate to expand form 50mm to 70mm.

yes im a bit weary, have replace the cheap bolts holding them together with high tensile, i think youd be doing pretty well to snap the ali tho.
