Hi, ive recently bought a zxr400 from my local dealership (after wanting it for monthes whilst i did my test) This is my first bigger bike and i love it, im always going down to my local bikers cafe where everyones very intrested in the bike :)
This forum seems great and i look forward to speaking to most of you, thanks,

i see you've got the best colour scheme too! But then i'm biased! I notice the lovely cable & disc lock. i'd heartily recommend getting an alarmed lock. mines a 14mm xena alarm lock, pretty much the biggest pin you can get, so big it only fits on the rear disc! The main benefit is that a) you can't accidentaly ride off with it on, ever. (120dB of rape alarm going off when you sit on it is a dead give away!) b) it stops ass holes trying to move, sit on, drag etc, the bike due to the noise. I think mine was about £55. Try www.vcustoms.co.uk (my local shop) i think if you register you can get a £20 voucher for £25+ purchases. Rich is really good there. And my 15% discount does not effect my judgement in any way!
I do 700 miles a week in all weathers including snow, that's roughly 35,000 miles a year, and some weekend warrior biker has the nerve to get out of his Audi at work to tell me to I was riding far too fast in the wet (over taking at 50... fast eh?).
