had my zxr H1 for about 6 months now and have tried to restore it the best i could, really bad condition when i bought it cause of the nugget that had it before me but it has turned out to be a really nice bike. passed my test about 2 months ago.

if you saw it in real life you would think different lol, the guy before me had just taken the fairings and the tank of and just sprayed it with a rattle can so all if the pipes and wires were all faint gold, even the carbs and C&s kit were all gold, to be honest i don't really have any pics of all the work i only have pics of the engine strip we did cause of a blown head gasket and that's nothing new on here.

i would like to make it look a bit more modern with like flat indicators and try and do something with the rear number plate and mud gard, i have also bought a h2 or an l1 swing arm to fit on to it.

i was also wondering would it be better to put an L model engine onto it cause i hear that they are better?

engines are the same, but with a BUT.

Look it up using the search, but basically Kawasaki varied a few things on them such as the cams.

So no, just sticking an l engine in won't give more power. Plus it depends how good the engine in there is, how worn etc.

thanks for the info, its probs not worth it then my engine is fine no nocks or rattles.
