Hi all,
I've just come back into the fold after 6years away. Decided to go back to what I know as I'm probably going to be a little nervous going back to biking after all this time. Anyway I don't have a flickr account and can't see anyway of posting up pics to profiles on here so here's a link to what will, hopefully, be delivered to my door this week.

Will post some more pics when it arrives.
Cheers!

Cheers Rob,
Had a mishap on my 1st corner, too much throttle, back end flew out, and over she goes. Quiet residential street so no worries. Confidence taken a complete dive, bike a bit scratched, rear brake pedal snapped. Not a good day. And I was meant to bike to work tomorrow 17miles. Think I'm going to have to work up to it, and/or go on a refresher course or something. I'm more nervous than when I get in the ring!!
On a plus note already fixed the crappy wiring for the indicators, as one took a wonder across the road.

Dude, take your time and learn how the bike delivers the power.
If you crash again I'll kick your ass.

Yeah I think that was definitely it. Way too much on the throttle. Went back out to a training class to work off some the the jitters. The riding is coming back slowly feel a little bit more at ease with the power. Like you said get used to the power delivery. Getting there. Wondered around trying to find a petrol station. Feel a little safer in the dark.
Will see how I feel in the morning about the commute.
Rear brake lever winging its way over to me from ebay. Scratched my nice fairing.

0-4k rpm no power
4-6k rpm some power
4-8krpm enough power
8k+ rpm awesome warp speed acceleration

Well made it into work, albeit around the houses, got lost etc. Forgot the zxr400 is not that happy cold. Cut out a few times at traffic lights. Feel a bit battered but that was from sparring LOL.
Thanks for the support.

Much happier today. 36psi helps a lot. Rear was low. Its all beginning to click back into place and becoming smoother and more controlled. Still don't like turning right on mini roundabouts though. Booked in for a refresher course next Friday too, so I can go over everything with them.

Any decent places near se London or tonbridge that could do a cam chain change? Its done 20k and I don't know if this has been done or not. What should I expect to pay for something like that?
Cheers.
