Hi guys, Bear with me for a few posts, I'm not used to this forum layout, I come from a different world altogether in that respect.
M0rd3kaI is me username... got into a pickle with a few members on the other forum mentioned above about it being a female four-legged animal to type, so you can call me "Kai". I also react to vulgarities, but not in the friendliest of ways.
Bought a 1996 ZXR-400 from a friend of mine not even a week ago and boy oh boy I'm not looking back. It is a beauty and in my neck o' the woods (The lovely Cape Town, South Africa) you don't really see many 400's around that don't carry the Honda VFR badge, but as far as I'm concerned, those are all bloody ugly models in comparison to the ZXR (Not just saying it, I have never seen a bike with a 'cockpit' quite like the ZXR's, the unmistakable intake pipes that make it look like a space-cruiser)
So, I just have to change the battery as the previous owner warned me about that they were sure it was going to give in (Been standing a while) and tonight was the night that she decided to give way, I hope I can get her sorted tomorrow morning before work, otherwise I'll have to take my Chinese "MotoMia Spitzer" to work and back... and I don't really want to for obvious reasons.
Anyway
I rant easily, but before I go I have an honest question though... where exactly is the battery unit of the ZXR L model located? I'll need to replace the damned thing, but I can't find the old one
Anyway, will be posting a few pics as well, but I'll first have to hit the sack, got work tomorrow and it is already a tad later than expected.
Cheers
Kai (a.k.a Shaun)
