Hi, pleased to get on here, heres a photo of my 1st bike.
I've owned this bike a while but only just started to use it as I work away.
Since I've got it, I changed the exhaust, indicators & clutch/brake levers.
Heres the difference in levers:
And heres a pic before I fitted them. Another few small things I've added are the Purple Pro-Bolt kit & the monster energy thingy!
I want to add a gear indication. Anyone got a guide i can use to fit one. I'm quite new to biking & keep misselecting gear/don't know what i'm in!
unless it's 6th because 50mph=5k 60mph=6k 70mph=7k etc

Nice, tidy bike
Forget the gear indicator and forget about gears.
It's all about power, and you will know if you have the power by the sound the engine makes.

I assume that my next modification should be full exhaust then. I'll have a search around on here. What would be after that to obtain big power?

Re: Hi, I'm Christian from Wrexham.
cool your beans there mr. crotch rocket.
get a lighter set of pipes and a lighter can, then just get to grips with the zxr.
It's a funky bike to get the most out of, and i guarantee you are no where near it's limits.
if you have an overwhelming need to spend money then take it to the local recommended independent bike mechanic and get him to do a full major service on it.
Oh and grab a powerbronze screen for it, it will reduce the wind buffering.

Re: Hi, I'm Christian from Wrexham.
Count the gears in your head, you'll soon be used to the feel and sound and know what gear you're in.
Don't drop too many cogs in one go until you get familiar with them, I learnt this many years ago waiting to do a bansai back road multi car overtake, kept downshifting with the clutch in, out went the clutch, engine screamed and rear locked up, too many downshifts, fortunately I only damaged my pride, oh and a pair of yips
Do not spend money voluntarily, the ZXR will let you know when to get the plastic out, frequently

Does the low seat height reflect the low intelligence? Easier to get an asshole onto.

Crotch Rocket...made me laugh!
OK, my next bit of money will go on full service. That seems a sensible thing to do.
I'll check out these screens also so thanks for that bit of advice. Does get a bit breezy.
Oh well, I'm off out for a blast because it's a nice day. I'll be counting!
