well ive just joined the site and taking in the technical stuff 
the thing is I have an old 1988 ZX 4 G1 
so I am hoping someone or every one tell me if the later ZXR 400 engine parts are interchangeable ?

You shouldn't have any issues , your G1 doesn't have an oil cooler though.
Racers here are now going back to this bike and upgrading it with the later stuff - winning championships on them too
