Awright folks. I'm a soon to be ZXR400 owner/rider so I thought I'd say howdy.
A very good friend of mine has a H series ZXR400 he bought ages ago but never put on the road. Basically, since he's so busy and has loads of other toys/projects, I'm getting his bike. Good pal huh.
Problem is, I don't have my bike license so I've booked in for my DAS and should be legal early June (YES!!). Fortunately for me, I'm quite an experienced rider (Born and bred outside of the fair UK) so I'm hoping to explore the limits of the baby Ninja quite soon.
I also like to modify things. I'm sure the ZXR will suffer the same fate and I'm already looking for ways of tuning it to play with the bigger bikes. Any suggestions? How about putting the engine from a ZXR600 in the frame? How much can the 400 motor take and what kind of power/speed is achievable?
Look forward to your replies.
Chazz.

hithere!
mmmm zx6r and fireblade engines have been fitted... but i have got a sneaky plan >muhahhaaaa<
since space is limited- what about the daytona 675 triple?
or- if it fits- a suzuki gt750 two stroke- ported and higher compression of course.
muhahahaaa!

nasty hehe couldnt agree more.
i actually have one in garage but its in pieces and i need new engine parts, basically a whole engine anyway... standard they only make 77 hp but... 110 to 135 is very possible. they are also very suited to supercharging... muhahahaaa... but its old and heavy and possibly too big.
but imagine a fuel injected(to make the power more predictable/ manageable) supercharged 750cc two stroke ZXR!!!

lol
i'll show you :smt076
hehe
its not just a stroker its a 750 (SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY) cc stroker.
but seriously i wouldnt do that to a kettle motor... it belongs in a kettle.
but a 17500 rpm r6 lump or the daytona 675 would be nice, if the cash and the electronics werent problems...
which brings us full circle back to the zx6r and fireblade engines...
mmmmm dream on
