New to Kwackers!

Post by bikemonkey »

Hi all,

I'm not new to 400's as I've owned my NC30 for 6 years now! However I picked up a ZXR400 L4 project last night and look forward to getting my spanners on it.

I may need to pick some of your brains as it's currently a non runner and needs a fair bit of TLC.

I'll post up a picture later when I take one

you will love how easy it is to get to the carbs and engine bay compared to that V4 :D

At the moment I'm near Wolverhampton, but set to move again in June, God knows where yet though!

I am, both as banner001, and as CoventryMotoFest as I'm one of the main organisers for the bikes. I'm in Nuneaton if you need a hand.

Tend to just hang over here though as I've got 2 400's both are zxr400's

Thanks for the kind offer :smt023

Here's a few pictures of the bike, will get better ones once I start working on it, was just rearranging the garage tonight.

Overall it's complete minus a chain, needs tlc but not much more than that. Fairings are in fairly good condition considering, plenty of rusty brackets however.

I'll get it running first then probably give it a full strip clean and inspect, sorting things along the way.

I'll start a build thread too, will be a good place to log progress biggrin
