A long time waiting...

Post by DanL397 »

Hi all, i picked up a L2 yesterday. I have been on about buying one since 1998 but for some reason always went for the 600cc bikes. Anyway i hit the big 40 later in the and thought that is a perfect excuse to get another bike in the garage. the strip down has already begun!

Congrats! What you doing with the strip down, a quick refresh? The bike looks really tidy...

Shes`s a strange old beast as she looks amazing in photographs but looks her age to the naked eye. I`m planning on giving her a strip down, powder coat the wheels, clean all the nooks and crannies, replace any rusty nuts and bolts, overhaul brake calipers, get loads of bits powder coated, sort the carbs and then give her a service. basically just have loads of fun!!
