thing is though, my 924 has cost less to buy and insure.. and rebuild, and respray.. and its RWD
ok, i've a few years on you, but i only got round to my car test a couple of years ago (bike licence since 96), and have zero NCB so i reckon my insurance is comparable
and im a bit "spoilt" when it comes to having had access to some nice cars due to my last real job,

classic cars are a piece of piss to insure mate, just get a limited mileage policy and replace the speedo if you go over your allowance.
if they are insured as a second vehicle alongside somthing else (which you never use .. naturally) its even cheaper
