Hi,
My son bought aZxr400 L1 almost 3 yrs ago with the intention of learning to ride, passing his test and restricting it for a bit. However, he has never been near it since and not shown any interest in learning to ride, so it has sat in my garage for all that time gathering dust.
I decided to get it on the road again for me to have some fun this summer. After stripping the carbs and cleaning them out, fitting a new battery and putting some new fuel in, it fired up and runs well. Took it for an mot yesterday and it failed on brakes binding slightly (and it is very slightly) and leaking front fork seals. I guess its all due to being stood for 3 yrs.

Anyway, i will be checking the site out more thoroughly for info on replacing the seals and then get another bike back on the road biggrin

hi, welcome to the forum, glad you've decided to put it back on the road yourself, all manuals and microfiches are on the main site, did the fork seals myself few weeks ago so this might help you

Thats the clearest 'how to' i've come across on anything on any forum for a long time. Its going to help a lot. Now i just have to get the new seals sorted.
