sounds on the expensive side but depends on what this "service" entails

welcome to the forum. Id say more then 120 for parts but not much more. Either way that is alot of money for a few hours work!

non of those are going to fix a noisy bike either.

you need valve clearances doing and cam chain checking.

sounds about right to me if you break it down. A major service on my gixer costs £250 and they quoted me £180 to get a set of C&S fitted - £130 for the C&S and 1hrs labour.

at a rough guess
oil & filter £40
4 plugs £30
air filter £30
C&S £100 - 1hrs labour £50
brake fluid
carbs balanced -
and 2 hours labour to do the service and balance your carbs - doesnt sound unreasonable to me.

its easy enough to do most of that yourself for a fraction of the cost - people on here are more than happy to help if you arent mechanically minded.
Get them to balance your carbs, and maybe your C&S if you dont want to buy tools and do the rest of the service yourself - its much more satisfying IMO.
