No brakes! Coming through!

Post by sofiezx4 »

Hello everyone. Im new to all this forum stuff but thought Id drop by as I have NEVER seen anyone else on a zx4 which is a terrible shame. I love my bike more than I love sausages. And I love sausages, a lot.
Looking for a master cylinder too if anyone knows where I can get one? Dragging my feet along the road isnt the safest or most productive form of stopping the bike.
Pff.
Anyway...my name is Sofe and Im 28. I ride a 1994 zx4 and I have no fillings and all my own teeth.

Have you thought about a rebuilt kit for the master cylinder rather than another one?

Have you thought about swapping your front brake assembly for i dont know an assembly of another bike, i.e. Cbr600f's, if you do a search on the forum there a few posts about swapping them for 'better' sets. With relatively small mod's, like spacers.

Have i gone to far? :tease

Hi all, thanks for the messages..
Im umming and erring between getting an aftermarket rebuild kit for the master wotsit (Kwak apparently dont do one) or like someone mentioned, try to get one to fit from a 600. Whats the best bet do you think? Bear in mind the most technical thing Ive done in the past is electrocute myself with a spark plug!

Got loads of pics of my bike (its identical to the one on the forum photo up there ^ on the right) but cant seem to upload them?

The pictures need to be below like 250kb in size or something.
Id say looks like your only option is a rebuild kit, but if your not to DIY savvy id say get yourself on ebay for the bits you need luv. oldman
