Hello from Leeds

Hello just joined after buying an L3 model ZXR from Baz (well almost bought it, rest of wonga on Tues / Weds Baz when my other half gets paid!).
A bit about me then- I'm the wrong side of forty (ok fifty then) and this will be my 33rd bike since i started riding at 17 years old. Have had all sorts of stuff Beemers, Ducati's, tons of Jap stuff from a Yam 50 to an FJ1200.
About 18 months ago I started feeling my age and bought a maxi scooter (Burgman 400) but that got nicked within 6 months and I haven't had a bike for alomst a year (first time ever in my adult life). Theiving scum did me a favour though really, as it has been a very frustrating year without a bike and has re-kindled my enthusiasm for a proper bike.
So what to get? The truth is I have always had a soft spot for ZXR400's and as I wanted a bike that was physically quite small (I'm only a tiddler you see!), it was the obvious choice. Am looking forward to getting back on two wheels and having a good old blast with my mates. Will let you know how I get on with the bike when I have put a few miles under my belt.
Cheers
