@ spudboy6 sorry the price is fix ,only possibility to reduce the cost is an order with more than 3 qty.

It's a cnc piece that weights 17 grs and not cobbling!

Nobody is questioning the apparent quality of your piece it is a nice product but several forum members are already running normal blanking plates with no bypass in them are you questioning their knowledge because that's how it is coming across
Don't get so excited it's not your engine each to their own

There is NO need for a bypass....................there is a bypass in the engine and a look at the oil flow chart/diagram shows it

Yeah, just blocked the pipes, the zx 400 has the same engine and was built without an oil cooler but the sump doesn't fit without shortening the oil pickup

Looks better than my effort. I used 8mm alley too but I made my own gaskets. Mine are lock wired too and I've never touched them since not one drop of oil has escaped and no other issues either.

yeah cargo i made my own gaskets as well really wanted to go with an o ring but researched a bit on here and thought well gasket and sealant is ok not like its not easy enough to keep an eye on,
would have made my own but michaela already had the 8mm so it was easier to get her to do it for me.

ive emailed Michaela, the blanking plates are £18 for the pair, posted to UK.

I've emailed the above company and they say they only have these in stick for a H model otherwise will need some measurements to make

Are the blanks the same for H and L models ?

ok, very interested in this, my son (16) is racing a zxr400l, and i want to dump the oil cooler.
what if i tapped the holes and put bolts in? or bring it to my friend to just weld it shut?
that cnc piece is lovely, i would buy it if i knew where!!!

i looked at tapping it but i think the hole may be tapered, i woul have to check though. welding also possible but dont know how much heat it would take and if it might distort the sump gasket face?

i bought the blanks off Ebay, and they fit perfect. oil cooler now in a skip! fairing fits much easier, and not a drip of oil from them, perfect fit!
