Hello All,I've just bought a Ohlins shock for my son's 400.Can any one suggest a spring for it as the problem we have is with riding gear he weighs 50kg,about 100 pound. It's not a wind up,he's 17 ,5'5" and could run rings around me on a flat track by the time he was 12.Any help would be grateful.

You would be best off calling Ktech or Maxton and give them weights of rider and bike, type of use and they will advise. It really is the only way to get solid, calculated info.

It's just a guess but I'd say a 325-350lb spring. I have a 425lb spring on mine and I'm 225 with gear.

Thanks for the info, unfortunately I'm in Australia but I have taken the shock to Terry Hay at shock treatment near Sydney and will post the spring spec he uses for future reference. He's one of our best down here and once had a young kid called Josh Brookes working for him. Will be back with the results soon.

I also found that the link from the H2 model is more linear, it works a lot better for me.

PM Mori Man on here. He'll send anywhere in the world but as he's in Japan sending to Oz should be no big deal.
