Re: Stanchions
The only difference I'm aware of between std L and SP is the compression adjuster on the SP
I prefer a well set up std fork over the SP

Re: Stanchions
SP stanchions are plugged into the leg , standard have a grub screw to remove.
The whole SP unit can be used into a L leg.
Fully adjustable suspension that can't be dialed in right

Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !

They are the same Leon. Ive changed a few and found that both L and Lsp have a grubscrew which are difficult to remove. I actually finished up drilling the screw out and retapping the hole to 6mm which is 1mm up on the original. You will need some heat on to break the seal of the 'locking agent' and then unscrew the stanchion. Its a very fine thread, but i presume you are removing it because of wear or damage so you can grip it they best way you can regardless of the condition it finishes up in.leon_51 wrote:Hi does anyone know if std l model stnchions are the same as sp stanchions? cheers leon
