In need of taller inlet rubbers to raise a set of flatslides up 15-20mm appox than standard carb's, up of the airbox, as they are sitting dead tight...
is there such a thing or are there other rubbers that do the job,..
any help greatly appreciated
Cheers Tommy

Re: Flatslides need raised for Ram Airbox
My flat sides sit tight inside a BB copy air box. My airbox is black. And the airbox sits very tight on top of the engine.
What I found made the difference was trimming the molding around the edges to fit snugly in the frame, as originally it sat on the frame and the carb rubbers did not protrude through enough.
Just check that the carbs do lay flat in the airbox, as I also have an AMS (white) ram air box, but this is clearly designed for CV carbs as the flat side cards just wouldn't sit within the molding correctly due to the float bowls IIRC.
