I want to run a wider rim on my zxr 400 so I can run 180 tyres, for the simple reason I run a 748 and can get 180 tyres cheap.
I have heard that one of the zx6 rims fit, could anybody please tell me which rim fits.

F model zx6r wheels can fit with home-made spacers IIRC, although they only take a 170 on the 6r, im sure a 180 would fit..

course then you'd probably need a 120/70/17 on the front, which "can" rub the mudguard, and you'd probably have a bike that felt a bit cumbersome..

have you read any of the threads on here/400gb about running wider rear?

consensus is youll ruin the bike.

ZX9R rear wheel fits, no messing about with the sprockets either apparently.
