There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

Im going racing next year and want a top tune (so i have no excuses !)
Ive searched through BSN and on the net at results and riders who are
winning and consistantly running at the front. Now ive come up with a
shortlist of tuners:- Dynotec-Bob Farnham-Anthony Haywood-Rmkd-RS Performance, each tuner having there 'Golden boy'!! but will i get as good
bhp as the top men? 75-80bhp? I seem to be getting some good lap times
in with 62bhp and im wondering if another 10bhp would be adequate??
59sec Mallory? 1m47sec Cadwell 55.5 Brands. Im22 Donnington. Are these OK to start with?? Any advice??

I would suggest you use whoever is closest to you. Any problems can be sorted more easily. Dynotech offer the full (best) service and despite certain comments are not any more expensive than any one else, but I would suggest you speak to them all to make up your own mind.

Assuming that those are 'Trackday' times then they are good. Racing will bring them on a bit and as a Rookie they'll be good.

Simon, you may think that's not a bad price, have you still not contacted Dynotech
Dynotech well they do go bang how many engines have you had since on the zxr 400 Ballsout --------------
Simon, any engine can go bang. The simple fact is that probably 80% of ZXRs out there (bemsee) are Dynotechs, the odds are, if one goes bang, 8 out of 10 times it will be a Dynotech one.

As for my engine, if you consider a valve braking a blow up, then once. It had nothing to do with workmanship whatsoever. It could have happened to anyone, and in fact has. May I remind you of how many standard engines Tazzie has 'blown up'! mostly all down to component failier of the ever so reliable Honda.

Publicly telling everyone Dynotech engines go bang is not doing you any favours. Firstly I suggest that you at least get your facts right.

I will not slag off any tuners publicly, I have no reason too. How many ZXR engines has Lawrence done, 3 is it. Mmmm, makes you wonder, or at leat it does me. Do you check your valve clearnces after every meeting? I could go on.

People will allways use dynotech because they think there going to win on there engine

Would you like to post on here then on what it will cost for a full tune from dynotech Ballsout so the bloke knows you seem to no every thing else so what will it cost only time will tell

I think you lap times are very good for the power you have 62bhp isnt alot but you will need to sort suspension front and rear and 72ish would make a differnence you will be able to punch it out the corners better

Good luck with you racing dont listen to the paddock talk

me and Ballsout dont stop and the season aint over yet god is this going to get worst all fun till the track  sorry Ballsout i dont need favours
i do things for myself im a big boy now..

Use Bob Farnham cant be bothered yes i would recomend you check your clearences yourself as i do we put new valves in and they stretch but you would need to consult your own tuner on service intervals

Bored now going to help people out that need help BALLSOUT will help with all your tuning problems
