post links to the new deadpool movie, then if you are retarded enough to click the link your pc gets infected with spambots/viruses etc.

all of the new users on 1st march were russian/ukranian spam IP's :smt015

I don't know what's happened but the spam bot has gone crazy!!!

Admin/moderates can anything be done to stop this? Especially the ones about those bloody essays

ive changed the spambot settings the other day and stopped any further registrations, I currently have 159 users awaiting activation :smt003

on the bright side, with all the "guests" aka spammers we have a new daily record of 196 users per day - granted 188 were "guests" but still :excited

right from now I have 171 users awaiting activation, I have installed a mod that checks all users, registrations and posts with the world spam database and blocks them if they are on there.

hopefully genuine users can still post lol

good, good, a lot of the spam was coming from a few russian domain names, ive blocked these domains as well, MOI can you delete all the new "users" that registered 1st march please if possible?
