spamming

something i've been looking at and keeping under control lately is spambots, you know the ones i mean, little webbots that automate registration procedures to spam forums with adult orientated website and material, well i have just installed a little hack which will hopefully stop these said bots from registering with the forum, fingers crossed lets see if it works.

currently we have approx 6-10 registrations per day from these bots which i have managed to keep deleting 1 by 1 .lets see what happens.

Best of luck mate, hope it works, they are a real pain in the butt.

You'd think people could find something better to do !!!!

well i seem to have cracked it on the forum but it has just been brought to my attention the spamming of the original zxrworld gallery, obscene comments will not be tolerated !!! now i know its no-one here but i will keep a daily track of all comments for the time being until i find a security fix for this.failing that i will stop any comments being added to the gallery.

Yeah i noticed a few in the gallery, i was on the receiving end of a few as it happens.
