Temp' Sensors

Post by Mori Man »

There are a few different makers of these on the market eg, Daytona , Koso , Active........

A favourite is Yoshimura as they do three types.

Temp meter = Either an Oil or coolant reading.

Multi meter = Either an oil or coolant with clock and volt plus high temp and low volt warning lamps.

Dual meter = Both oil and coolant with clock , volt, rev and lap timer plus shift and warning lamps. Plus advanced transponder com's

They only ever listed a coolant sensor for the ZXR so today armed with both the sump plug and oil pressure galley cap I found the necessary sensors for doing oil. You don't need both but gives you an option on location as you might have an oil pressure sensor hooked up.

The other good news that has come out of this is the oil pressure sensor I have for my Active meter will also fit :excited just don't know what bike to fit it too :smt005

MM!

Yoshimura sensor type C for coolant , for oil type E for sump plug and F for pressure galley.
Nothing worse than having an H and not being able to scratch it !
