Re: FORKS!!! Discrepancy between Microfiche + Workshop Manual.
seriously can no-one see this? My missus can see it.
that tube will be sitting under the top nut, metal on metal, wearing it away and putting metal shavings into the valve.....
I hope that no-one has followed the manual for this, otherwise there will be some interesting threads on here soon......

Re: FORKS!!! Discrepancy between Microfiche + Workshop Manual.
as i said earlier... ALL the items on the right hand side of the microfiche diagram (i.e. all 5) go at the bottom... the it's exactly the same as the workshop manual. looks like it's been stretched and ran out of room to have it all in on straight down column

Re: FORKS!!! Discrepancy between Microfiche + Workshop Manual.
ok, you go and put some forks together using only the workshop manual. Placing the parts in exactly the same order as the workshop manual.
it will be wrong.
Surely they would create the microfiche and use it for building the bikes before publiching a workshop manual
Let me know how it goes yeah
If the workshop manual was to be correct it should look like this.

Cansa:
From T2 on the right hand side;
This shown on the left diagram has been floated to the right hand side, as the page is not long enough.
So you get the the bottom, and then carry on down from the top of the right extra parts - if that makes sense!
I'll post a photoshop to show you.

Re: FORKS!!! Discrepancy between Microfiche + Workshop Manual.
which one of these looks right then?
cos that plastics spare and washer will not fit through the "tubey bit" to sit at the top so it protects the top nut.
