How to relocate the zxr400 rear caliper!?

Post by wotwastht »

Hi there,
New on here :excited
Right im sure i could be looking online forever trying to find examples of what im looking for but hopefully some one heres done it already! :wanker haha
As we all know the rear brake on the zxr 4 is Shiiiit, i want my one sitting above the swingarm without a stupid " torsion bar" if thats what the rod is called. I think its just a matter of fabricating a bracket so the caliper can sit on the swingarm instead of under. Sorry if im not making sense but surely someone can help!.. Even if i need a different caliper, is there any known parts i could use. Or is this something better left alone
thanks
A ZX4R of-course :-P

Hello and welcome.

In esscence you are right, just a bracket. Use tlhe search box up top as this has been covered before and pics of previous work are also around.

Good grief................

Have you got a race licence ? ? ?

Is it a track day you want to ride on ? ?

Why dont you try asking the people who run trackdays they might have the answer ?
