Just before you go for new seals etc, try pulling the brake lever to the bar and cable tie it to the bar.
Leave it overnight, cut the cable tie next day, hey presto instant brake !
its worked twice for me

I'll get back to you Grev!

Back on topic.

I've come to the conclusion that the 6 pots are all for show. I have just fitted the 4 pots off a gsxr K2 and my brakes are now absolutely brilliant. I need only dab the lever and they are on. Rather than having to grab a full fist of brake and then bring the brake lever within and a quater inch of the grips. Don't get me wrong, when the 6 pots come on they bloody stop you! But I just couldn't live with all that travel in the lever. To get the 6 pots fully working you need a brembo.

Thats my 2 pence. If anybody wants more information on the calipers feel free to ask.

Basically anything with a 62 mm bolt hole spacing will fit your zxr forks. The hard bit is getting them spaced out or getting the bolts to fit the stantions. If you can get 4 pots off a gsxr (k1/K2/K3) and you're having brake probs then do it!!!

Took the bike out yesterday and f*** ME! The calipers are absolutely incredible. All I have to do is breathe on the lever and the bike pulls up. Its savage. Almost too much. It hurts my bullocks lol.

Only problem is now my bI have this amazing braking power, my dics are fecked. They are warped very badly and its like braking on a flying washing machine.

Looking at these, what do you think??

kagizume, eh? mmmmmmmmmm!

Price isnt bad at all really. Just looked up pro-lites and found some for just over £300, so a very good price. Im sure they are as good as any other brake disk, i guess they have to be???

I've never heard of them either. But I've done some research on other forums and I've heard nothing bad about them from the people that use them.

Hi,

Scott, I'm using a kagizume rear wavy on my bike. No problems what so ever... lovely braking and easily locks up. Only down side is they take a couple of weeks to bed in with new pads. Mine have beded in now and are truly awesome, much better than my old chewed up kawasaki 1.

Have you got wavys on now scott? Unfortunately thats one of the downsides to wavy's, they judder slightly. Mine are flipping horrendous when comming upto a stop, they have gotten better since i cleaned the calipers up but are slowly creeping back as the pads bed back in.
