Spider Paranoia

Post by Jamz »

Has anyone else had anything similar to this? :

The last 2 nights in a row, I've experienced what I can only call 'Spider Paranoia'.

I've gone to bed, and just about dropped off to sleep, when suddenly I'm convinced that I can SEE a huge filthy great spider sat on my pillow, or last night, a totally different looking spider on the wall next to my bed!!! :(

So I've dived out of the bed and switched the lights on, ready to play Bash The Spiddy....

And of course nothing has been there... Not that they've just legged it, because, thinking about it - how the hell could I have seen the buggers in the near-pitch blackness??? :?

So after a quick courtesy check of the bed =o| (come on - you've gotta do this), it's back to bed trying to put it out of my mind....

What's it all about??? :(

LOL you barskets!!!!

Luckliy i quite like tarantulas myself :P

If fact i'm not all that scared of spiders - my heart might skip a beat if i suddenly come face to face with one of the fkrs unexpectedly, but a month ago at Pembrey i let one the size of a ZXR brake fluid cap crawl all the way down me after i'd tried flicking it off my neck. (yeah, ok so there were women there and i was trying to look hard  ).

As far as stress goes, i'm so laid-back you can see the soles of my feet when i walk! 8)

Someone else has said it could be 'Night Terrors' - some people see an old hag sat on the edge of their bed and stuff, so i think i've got off lucky!!!

Oh, and i slept like a baby last night - after killing a spider i found when i went to bed!!! :D
