Right, so there's one thing that instantly stands out to me:
STOP FUCKING HAVING CHILDREN!
There isn't enough food to keep the damn parents alive, and yet they all seem to have 14 kids each?!

Hell, I don't want kids because I can't give them the kind of life I'd want to, so what are these dumb idiots playing at?
Is it a case of trying to breed as much as possible in the hope that at least 2 of your 8 children will make it through?

If there's not enough food to go around everyone, you DON'T want to be increasing the population! It's quite simple!
But to keep breeding and expect anyone to send food and money to bail you out... to expect ME - who works a crap job for crap pay - to bail you out while you keep breeding...???
