First off, this video is absolutely great, and cheered me right up about the ice in a way that only laughing at some Tit-Head hurting themselves can:

Ooh yeah! That's the toad right there! And get that Latvian guys laugh!!!OK, so the UK has been crippled by snow and ice, blah blah blah - but more importantly, I haven't been able to ride my bike at all (I couldn't get the fucker off my driveway, let alone to one of the few gritted main roads...), meaning it's costing me Um Plenty Big taxi money, or I simply can't get to work at all, because no -ing taxi will brave it into my village.The biggest SHOCKER story last week was some poor teenage girl, who, along with 5 or so mates, climbed onto makeshift sledge made from a car bonnet (that's a 'hood' to you Yanks), and then met her tragic demise after crashing through a barbed wire fence and then into a more solid fence which was there to stop sheep sledging into the river or something.Poor kid.But then I saw the actual video footage of the scene on a news report.
This isn't the best pic, but you can see the hill and the big fence at the bottom. The barbed wire fence has been removed, but was where the line is about 3/4 of the way down the slope, where you can see two black posty-things.

Yes, that's right - the barbed wire fence was on the actual -ing slope they were sledging down. Not at the bottom. Not even on a reduced incline part. Right on the -ing run where they sat 5 people on a piece of sheet metal and hoofed themselves down the hill.
