A lot of people mistake the zx400 for a zxr, although the engines are very similar the rest of the bike is not apart from maybe the colours
there is not a lot of info about the zx400 so i will try and get as much info as possible here.
If anyone would like to share any knowledge please do.

Launched in 1985, one of the first of a new breed of what were to be referred to as ‘Pocket Rockets’. With advanced liquid cooled four valve, four cylinder engines, these machines were race bikes for the road. Many in fact were and are raced in this popular 400cc class. Revving up to and beyond 15000 rpm, with 70 plus hp, and perimeter aluminium chassis endowing these light 145 kg machines with thrilling performance, able to out gun all but the best ridden sports bikes through the twists and turns.

ive had three though... great bikes

i have one of these ,its an 88,pretty sure its an f3,non runner now but its a good rolling chassis,any ideas for a motor,or any mad ideas for it,anyone?

I have just got one think its a G as mine says ZX400 G on the frame but i could be wrong am new to the world of biking

thanks i like the idea of a zx400 section. all i need to do is get my bike started and road worthy and all the guys on here are helping alot will post more pix as and when it moves on

hi guys
i managed to get hold of a set of restrictors off a guy from here ( am well debited to him for sending me them )
am finally on the road with my zx400g lovely bike tho even with the restrictors in cant wait to get em out and try it on the open road
still trying to find out a few things about the bike
just noticed that a guy suggested throwing bits at it from a H2 model ?? which parts ??
